Kari, Me & ScrapFest!

It has been an entire week since I have come back from ScrapFest & this is the first chance I've had to post about it!  It was an amazing experience & I couldn't have asked for a better traveling companion than my dear friend, Kari.  Both her & I had so much fun meeting such wonderful ladies of the Flickr Hero Arts group & to top it off we met Jennifer McGuire, Shari Carroll, Tami Hartley & Kelly Rasmussen!!  Love them all! First things first...I haven't went overnight anywhere since last year when I attended the Women of Faith conference in Minneapolis.  Emma was sick at that time & missed me terribly.  I was pretty much a wreck the whole time I was away.  My trip up to Minneapolis this year was so much better.  Emma was healthy & didn't miss me one bit!  :)  I would like to send out a special thank you to Kari...she was such a great support traveling up to Minnepolis with me & helped me to remember that Emma would be just fine while I was away (she was in good hands with daddy, grandma & grandpa!).  Kari also reminded me to have faith...thanks, Kari.  :)  As a special thank you I made Kari a card that also fits the "photo card" challenge at Hero Arts this past week.  Here's to you, dear Kari...

Again, from helping me with taking photos during the Hero Arts class I attended (which I was so very thankful for & didn't tell her that at the time) to carrying my things...thank you so much Kari.  You had my back that whole time & you know I've got yours whenever you need me.  Hugs!
