...that there is still time to participate in the upcoming Reader Weekend (May 1-3) at Caardvarks.
This is what you do:
- Email Caardvarks with a card, project, or unique technique idea by Wednesday, April 29 at midnight (PST)
- There is no need to create something new, but you're welcome to do so if you wish
- Photos should be between 100 - 200kb and photographed well
- Provide a brief description and/or directions for creating your item
- Provide a link to your blog, website or gallery, and provide your name
Some reasons why you should do this:
- This is your chance to share the spotlight with other Caardvarks readers
- Some fame never hurts, right?
- You can get the cool logo to put on your blog...see mine on the right side?
- I know that you, the readers of my blog, are talented and should do this...yes, you!
- Most of all...I would love to see your work spotlighted
For more info, please go here.
There also is the "trees a crowd" challenge going on...you have until Thursday, April 30, midnight (PST) to participate. For more info & to see the super cute prize from Taylored Expressions...see this post.
Now for a card...I wanted to participate in the "distress" challenge going on at Hero Arts. I also wanted to try out my new stamps that Hero Arts so generously gave me for being a Hero Hostess. WOW! I am amazed & in awe of their generosity...thank you Hero Arts. In case you are not aware of the Hero Hostess thingy, you can see more info here. Once the three months are up, someone else has a chance to be a hostess...could be you! :) So, without further ado...here is my first card made with the hostess stamps:
Stamps used: LP146 Asian Dolls
Just love the little Asian Dolls...
Catch you later!
