Here are two more cards I did up with material from ShortCuts, the sponsor for the "sketch" challenge at Caardvarks. For details, please check out my previous post.
Stamps: Hero Arts CL140 Thinking of You; Ink: StazOn Jet Black; Acetate: Shortcuts (cut with Label 1 nestie & placed over seahorses as a window); Paper: Bo Bunny & Making Memories (green dotted); Ribbon: WalMart; Button: Making Memories
The seahorses fabric piece was saved from my dd's little Gymboree shirt that was ruined in the laundry. I couldn't bear to throw it out since it was practically brand new...so saved it up for just the right time. It now has a home on the shelf in her room. :)
Gather items that may have sentimental value & think of ways to preserve them in your artwork...they don't have to be hidden in a closet somewhere. :)
Another card...
Stamps: Hero Arts CL142 Thank You Messages & CL305 Sending Happy Thoughts; Ink: StazOn Jet Black & Ranger Distress Ink (Walnut Stain); Acetate: Shortcuts (cut with Label 1 nestie & then placed over froggie as a window); Paper: My Mind's Eye & Making Memories (green dotted); Leaf Pins: Maya Road; Button: Making Memories
I noticed that my counter is getting pretty close to 30,000! Hmmm...do you think it's time for some blog candy? I had better start gathering goodies...love it! Thanks, btw, for checking in & leaving some love...love you all!
Catch you later!
